Dear Zachary,
Today is your second birthday, and you've had a GREAT day! We had a family birthday party at the house with Gramma Jo-Jo, Nana, cousins, aunts and an uncle. There was cake, there were presents, there was swimming, and you enjoyed it all!
I am so proud of you and can't imagine loving you more than I already do. You are a wonderful son, and as happy as I am that you are growing up, I found myself feeling a little sad today, too, because my baby is growing into a little boy. I have truly soaked up your babyhood as much as I possibly can, and I've loved every moment of it. Still, this Mama knows that time marches on and that my baby can't stay a baby forever.
All I can say is I love you forever. You have my heart, and you always will.
Love,
Mama

So cute! Love your family.
Gorgeous photos...looks like a very fun party and lots of fun. You know, you can't imagine loving them more in the future than you do now...but in a way, I think I do love my daughter now even more than I did when she was 2. It's kind of like falling in love with your husband. You love him, and it's all smushy and delicious, but after some time goes by and you get to know him even more, you fall even more deeply in love. That's how it is with your kids, too. They grow into teens and you love them more. Then they grow into adults...I wonder if I'll love her even more when she's 30 than I do now?
When your boys smile they look like your hubby. Congrats on many wonderful blessings.
